I am currently in Big Bear City for a Zero and finally have some time to go back and add a few posts which will be chronologically scrambled but hopefully will get things up to date.

Hiked from Warner Springs up Comb's Peak and finally slept in an old bunkhouse owned by Mike Herrera.   Could hardly sleep because of the noise from the wind which was a constant roar all night long.   In the morning there was heavy fog and mist which made me feel like I was walking in a cloud for several hours.   After topping the ridge finally came into blue sky and sunshine and I finished the day with 17 miles.
