MP 812    Twenty miles today but if felt like thirty.    Went over two passes today, Glenn and Pinchot.    A mere 20 miles took 13 straight hours of walking.   Am sharing a campsite with Joe Anderson of Anderson's fame -- he the rock star of the PCT.    Very personable fellow.    Bird calls here in the woods are incredibly melodious and beautiful.   Wish I knew what they were. 

 I think this is looking out from Glenn Pass.   The hiking is always up one pass and down the other side. There is no level ground.
